As a Database Administrator, you’ll join a collaborative Platform Operations team responsible for the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of enterprise databases supporting modern SaaS applications.

What You’ll Do

As a Database Administrator, you’ll help ensure the performance, security, and availability of enterprise database environments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administer, monitor, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server database environments.
• Maintain highly available enterprise databases supporting mission-critical SaaS applications.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
• Troubleshoot database, storage, and infrastructure issues across production environments.
• Optimize SQL queries, indexing strategies, and database performance.
• Support deployment and maintenance of Azure-based database services.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering teams to improve database design and application performance.
• Implement database maintenance plans, backup strategies, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Automate database deployment and operational processes using DevOps best practices.
• Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure optimization, and platform improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Promote database security, governance, and operational best practices.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications

We’re interested in professionals who possess:

• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise database environments.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server administration experience.
• Advanced SQL development and performance tuning skills.
• Experience supporting large-scale production databases.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure database services.
• Strong understanding of database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Experience troubleshooting performance bottlenecks.
• Knowledge of database monitoring and automation tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
