Axe Recruiting is representing the search for a Jr. Marketer for a mission-driven behavioral healthcare organization at the forefront of community-based mental health services. You’ll be the linchpin between marketing strategy, internal execution, and clinical alignment—ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes and in front of the audience.

Role Overview:

You’ll be instrumental in driving internal marketing operations, team coordination, and optimizing the flow of information across departments. Your focus will include:

  • 60% – Project coordination and marketing operations
  • 25% – Internal communications and strategic planning support
  • 15% – Clinical team coordination and patient journey optimization

Key Responsibilities of a Jr. Marketer:

  • Coordinate and track progress of marketing projects and campaigns across teams, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
  • Manage and maintain operational systems: CRM, project management tools, and internal comms platforms
  • Build and update marketing project documentation: timelines, resources, action items
  • Draft and distribute internal communications regarding campaigns, product launches, and organizational updates
  • Assist in writing and refining SOPs for marketing systems and workflows
  • Support budgeting efforts and vendor coordination for active marketing initiatives
  • Facilitate internal meetings and ensure clear follow-ups and documentation
  • Organize and moderate collaborative meetings between clinical and marketing teams to align messaging and patient insights
  • Maintain asset libraries and ensure consistent brand use across materials
  • Coordinate implementation of new marketing tools and technologies
  • Liaise with clinical teams to produce accurate, relevant, and sensitive marketing content
  • Help identify gaps in the patient communication journey and map improvement opportunities
  • Analyze and report on marketing performance data for internal stakeholders

The Jr. Marketer Profile:

Qualifications:

  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing operations, project coordination, or internal communications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Confident communicator—both in writing and verbally
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Zoho Projects, Asana)
  • Basic understanding of CRM systems and marketing platforms
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Basic understanding of marketing KPIs and analytics tools is a plus
  • Exposure to process improvement or documentation is an asset

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline—or equivalent work experience
