About the Role:

As the Software Development Lead, you will take the helm of designing and implementing the company’s cloud strategy while leading a talented team of developers. Your role will focus on optimizing cloud infrastructure, creating robust APIs, and ensuring seamless integration with third-party systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Define and implement the company’s cloud strategy, prioritizing scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee and optimize AWS infrastructure for peak performance and reliability.
• API Development: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of APIs and facilitate integrations with external platforms.
• Team Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to the development team, fostering growth and adherence to best practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
• Technical Innovation: Solve complex technical challenges, implement creative solutions, and drive continuous improvement in system performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 7+ years in software development, with demonstrated expertise in cloud infrastructure and API development.

• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Ruby and Python.
  • Deep understanding of REST API design and development.
  • Familiarity with Flask framework and third-party software integrations.
  • Hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure and deploying cloud solutions.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

• Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage projects effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
• Bonus Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and cloud-based AI integrations.
  • Experience in the construction or materials industry.
