Brand Ambassador Manager (Account Executive)

Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid/Flex)
Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000 Base – $150,000+ OTE CAD annually, depending on performance.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Brand Ambassador Manager to lead a dynamic brand ambassador program in partnership with a prominent neo-bank. In this hybrid, commission-based role, you will manage and execute pop-up activations, drive engagement within university campuses, and directly impact the brand’s visibility and growth. Your leadership and strategic approach will be critical in amplifying brand awareness, driving sales, and supporting the company’s overarching goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Program Management & Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the brand ambassador program, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of ambassadors.
  • Oversee pop-up activations, events, and outreach efforts to boost brand awareness and sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with university partners, engaging with student communities to promote the brand.

Account & Client Management:

  • Take ownership of the neo-bank client relationship, ensuring all campaign deliverables are met or exceeded.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to the client, ensuring they are aligned with campaign goals and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure outreach efforts align with broader company objectives.

Team & Performance Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 15-20 brand ambassadors to generate high-quality leads and achieve engagement goals.
  • Provide feedback, guidance, and ongoing support to ensure team members meet performance targets.
  • Monitor the performance of ambassadors, track metrics, and adjust strategies to optimize results.

Lead Generation & User Engagement:

  • Leverage brand ambassadors and outreach strategies to generate leads and drive signups for the client’s platform.
  • Facilitate direct user signups, either through calls or in-person engagements.
  • Keep detailed records of where leads originated, who closed deals, and track other relevant metrics.

Strategic Contribution:

  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to enhance outreach effectiveness.
  • Regularly review performance data, making recommendations for improving brand ambassador program outcomes.
  • Drive innovation by developing new outreach systems and initiatives to attract more users to the top of the sales funnel.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing brand ambassador programs, ideally within a startup or marketing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, lead, and motivate a team of brand ambassadors.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a passion for community engagement and driving sales.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel frequently and adapt to various environments, including university campuses and event venues.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other tools for managing leads and tracking performance.
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Salary + Commission-based compensation: Earn upwards $150,000+ CAD annually, depending on sales and performance.
