About the Role
Axe Recruiting is seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist for a leading mental health organization specializing in providing high-quality, accessible psychiatric care. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting veterans, first responders, and individuals facing complex psychiatric challenges. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in managing co-occurring disorders, personality disorders, and psychiatric emergencies, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Manage complex cases involving mood disorders, personality disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations to develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Implement suicide prevention strategies and crisis intervention techniques.
- Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
- Stay up to date with legal and ethical standards in psychiatric practice.
Requirements As An Outpatient Psychiatrist
- Medical Degree (MD/DO) and board certification in psychiatry.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license.
- Strong expertise in emergency psychiatric care, suicide prevention, and co-occurring disorder treatment.
- Experience in multidisciplinary collaboration within an outpatient setting.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and adherence to ethical standards in psychiatry.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: $250,000 – $400,000 annually.
