About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, experienced, and solutions-oriented People & Culture Manager to join a high-growth, mission-driven healthcare organization. This role is critical in scaling HR operations, managing people-related workflows, and supporting recruitment coordination as the organization expands.

The People & Culture Manager will champion HR best practices, streamline internal processes, and alleviate the current bandwidth constraints on leadership by bringing key HR functions in-house. This is a hands-on role, ideal for a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • HRIS Management & Data Integrity:

    • Maintain and optimize the HRIS platform (Rippling preferred) to ensure accurate employee data, reporting, and compliance.

    • Partner with leadership to identify integration opportunities with existing systems (e.g., Zapier, HubSpot workflows).

  • Talent Acquisition Coordination:

    • Support recruitment processes, including job postings, applicant tracking, candidate communication, and scheduling.

    • Collaborate with hiring managers and external recruiters to ensure a seamless candidate experience.

  • HR Operations & Compliance:

    • Oversee onboarding, benefits administration, policy management, and documentation.

    • Ensure multi-state compliance, particularly for New York and Texas-based operations.

    • Assist in transitioning HR functions from external vendors to in-house management.

  • Culture & Employee Engagement:

    • Partner with leadership to foster a strong organizational culture aligned with the company’s mission and values.

    • Support employee relations, engagement initiatives, and internal communications.

  • Process Optimization & Scheduling Support:

    • Implement scheduling efficiencies, including coordinating weekly calendar blocks for interviews and team availability.

    • Collaborate with the executive assistant and leadership to streamline administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of HR generalist, people operations, or HR management experience.

  • Proven track record managing HRIS systems (Rippling experience highly preferred).

  • Experience supporting recruitment and talent acquisition workflows.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.

  • Familiarity with multi-state HR compliance is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative, cross-functional team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $65,000 – $75,000, commensurate with experience.

  • Potential for higher compensation based on experience and expanded responsibilities.

  • Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, PTO, and professional development.

  • Hybrid work arrangement preferred (Westbury, NY or Texas-based candidates prioritized).

  • Opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, purpose-driven organization making a meaningful impact in mental health and wellness.
