About Our Client Axe Recruiting is partnering with a well-funded, high-growth B2B software company that provides a premier connectivity and workflow automation solution. Our client empowers software organizations—from agile startups to Fortune 500 enterprises—to seamlessly deploy and scale third-party connections without worrying about the underlying infrastructure. Their product suite includes low-code, code-native, and AI-assisted building tools, alongside robust self-serve configuration options.

About the Senior Product Manager Role Reporting directly to the VP of Product, you will take ownership of the platform’s most highly technical domains—including dev tools, SDKs, APIs, and runtime architecture. You will be instrumental in defining the developer-facing roadmap while partnering closely with engineering, customer success, and design to ensure features map perfectly to real-world engineering workflows.

Core Responsibilities of Senior Product Manager

  • Champion the needs of technical users by deeply understanding how they construct, evaluate, and launch integrations.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and track emerging trends surrounding developer APIs and platform ecosystems.
  • Define the strategic vision, objectives, and trajectory for the developer-centric product roadmap.
  • Convert complex technical requirements and business goals into precise discovery documents and product specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and design counterparts to refine scope and ship impactful solutions.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert regarding the needs, pain points, and workflows of developer personas.

Requirements of Senior Product Manager

  • 4 or more years of Product Management experience in B2B SaaS, specifically targeting developers or highly technical audiences.
  • Previous background as a software engineer, solutions architect, or equivalent role demonstrating profound technical literacy.
  • The ability to hold your own in deep architectural conversations, asking targeted questions to navigate technical trade-offs with engineering teams.
  • A talent for balancing granular technical constraints with big-picture user value.
  • Strong capability in managing product discovery and synthesizing both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Fluency in modern development paradigms, including JSON, Webhooks, OAuth, SDKs, APIs, and deployment methodologies.
  • Adept at incorporating AI utilities into your daily product management processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between highly technical teams and executive leadership.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Direct experience launching SDKs, CLI utilities, or comparable developer ecosystems.
  • Hands-on background with iPaaS solutions, integrations, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Strong understanding of modern SDLC practices, including feature flagging, CI/CD, and observability tools.

Compensation

  • $150,000.00 – $180,000.00/year.

Client Culture & Expectations Our client operates with immense urgency and a customer-obsessed mindset. They favor candidates who value rapid execution over delayed perfection, meaning they want to ship good solutions today rather than perfect ones next month. The team is deeply invested in their mission, viewing their work as highly impactful. They operate as a unified front, succeeding and failing as a group, and strictly enforce a “no jerks” policy. Because this is a high-velocity environment, it may not be suitable for those seeking a highly predictable, traditional 9-to-5 schedule.

Benefits

  • Work Anywhere: 100% remote across the US, with twice-yearly company retreats for planning and team building.
  • Time Off: A flexible, unlimited PTO policy designed to help you genuinely recharge.
  • Healthcare: Top-tier medical (Cigna), dental (Guardian), and vision (VSP) coverage for you and your dependents.
  • Protection: Employer-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance.
  • Retirement: Guideline 401(k) with a 4% total company match structure.
  • Workspace: Premium tech hardware provided, plus a $1,000 stipend to perfect your home office.
