A stealth-mode startup with a bold mission to transform carbon capture is hiring a Senior Electrolyzer Engineer to take its breakthrough R&D into scalable, real-world hardware. What You’ll Be Doing
Design, develop, and scale electrolyzers from lab prototype to pilot-ready systems.
Own the electrochemical stack design (cell structure, flow field, membranes, electrodes, etc.).
Evaluate, select, and test advanced materials to improve electrolyzer performance and longevity.
Translate electrochemical data into mechanical designs and system improvements.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, process chemists, and external suppliers to deliver integrated solutions.
Set up lab infrastructure and protocols for long-duration stress testing and diagnostics.
Lead cost-reduction initiatives by optimizing for manufacturability and material sourcing.
What We’re Looking For In an Electrolyzer Engineer
5–10 years of hands-on electrochemical or electrolyzer system development experience.
Deep familiarity with water electrolysis, gas diffusion electrodes, and membrane technologies.
Strong track record of building systems in fast-paced R&D or early-stage startup environments.
Comfort with experimental design, failure analysis, and iterative prototyping.
Fluent in materials science, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics as they relate to electrochemical systems.
Proficiency in relevant simulation and design tools (COMSOL, SolidWorks, etc.).

Location & Compensation
Location: Remote (India-based candidates strongly preferred).
Compensation: Competitive salary of ₹30–40 LPA INR, depending on experience, plus startup equity options and performance incentives.
Contract Type: Full-time employee via Employer of Record (EOR) model, compliant with Indian labor laws.
